International Women's Day at Waterstones, Oxford

Friday 3rd March 19:00 at Oxford

On Friday 3rd March, Waterstones Oxford will be holding an evening of readings, followed by a panel discussion in the run up to International Women's Day 2017. Hosted by Hurst Street Press and  Oxford University Poetry Society, the event will see four female authors - Sarah Fletcher, Lili Hamlyn, Selina Nwulu, and Joanna Walsh - reading from their own work and discussing female writers who have influenced them. There will then be a general panel discussion, chaired by  Shoshana Kessler and Camille Ralphs.
This is a chance to engage and support some of the best contemporary UK-based writers; to listen to their thoughts on these marginalised female authors, and to celebrate International Women’s Day together.
