Heartstopper: Alice Oseman in conversation with special guests

Wednesday 5th February 19:00 at St James's Church , 197 Piccadilly, London , W1J 9LL

To celebrate the release of Heartstopper Volume 3, Alice Oseman will be joining us at St James’s Church to discuss the third instalment in her heartfelt queer graphic novel series about life, love and everything in between.

Tickets £20 includes entry and a copy of Heartstopper Volume 3, and an exclusive Heartstopper tote bag or £10 general admission

Boy meets boy. Boys become friends. Boys fall in love.

Heartstopper began as an online sensation: the webcomic attracted a legion of fans, with 4.6 million views on Tapas and over 70,000 subscribers. Following a kickstarter campaign, Alice went on to publish Volume One of Heartstopper last year.

“Absolutely delightful. Sweet, romantic, kind. Beautifully paced. I loved this book” – Rainbow Rowell

Charlie didn’t think Nick could ever like him back, but now they’re officially boyfriends. Nick’s even found the courage to come out to his mum. But coming out isn’t just something that happens once – there’s Nick’s older brother, and a school trip to Paris, not to mention all the other friends and family – and life can be hard, even with someone who loves you by your side. As their feelings get more serious, Charlie and Nick will need each other more than ever before.

Alice Oseman secured her first publishing deal at 17 years old, for her debut novel, Solitaire. Since then, she has gone on to write two further novels – Radio Silence and I Was Born For This – two novellas – this winter and Nick and Charlie, and the Heartstopper series, which has now been optioned for television by See-Saw Films.
