*CANCELLED* Hannah Sunderland in conversation with Isabelle Broom and Miranda Dickinson

Wednesday 20th May 18:30 at Birmingham

Join us as we celebrate the release of Hannah Sunderland's debut novel Very Nearly Normal with an evening of sparkling conversation between three fantastic contemporary authors; Hannah Sunderland, Isabelle Broom and Miranda Dickinson.

Very Nearly Normal is Avon Books' event book for summer 2020. Playing into key trends, this book is a rare gem: full of romance, humour but also heartbreak, it will hold you in its spell until the very last, heart-wrenching page:

Matilda ‘Effie’ Heaton knows that life has been against her from the moment she was born. The fact that her initials spell out ‘MEH’ – the universal term for anything uninspired and unexceptional – just says it all.

But then Theo walks into her life – a man who really shouldn’t like her. And yet, he does. His aim? To try and get Effie to see what life has to offer her. Because life isn’t just something that we can take for granted – a fact that Theo knows all too well.

Hannah Sunderland was born and bred in Sutton Coldfield, north of Birmingham, where she still lives with her menagerie of animals. She has a BA Hons degree in Fine Art and now runs her own business, a company that makes props for crime scene reconstruction.

Isabelle Broom is the bestselling author of six novels. The writer, reviewer and sub-editor has written for many UK publications, including Woman & Home, The Sunday Mirror, The Sunday People, Grazia and heat. When she’s not writing, reading or travelling the world to research her novels, she can be found walking her two dogs in the Suffolk countryside.

Miranda Dickinson is the Sunday Times Bestselling author of ten novels, including Fairytale of New York, Somewhere Beyond the Sea and The Day We Meet Again. A bestseller in four countries, with her novels translated into fifteen languages, she has sold one million books to date. Her next book is set in Birmingham. She is the founder of WriteFoxy writer inspiration days for authors and is also a vlogger and singer-songwriter. Miranda lives in The Black Country with her husband Bob and daughter Flo.
