Join us for a fantasy panel of epic proportions as we celebrate the release of John Gwynne's final instalment in the Bloodsworn Saga, The Fury of the Gods, where he will be joined by bestselling fantasy authors Tasha Suri and James Logan in conversation with editor, Jared Shurin. All paths lead to Snakavik, where the lines are being drawn for the final battle—a titanic clash that will shake the foundations of the world and bear witness to the true fury of the gods.
John Gwynne studied and lectured at Brighton University. He's played double bass in a rock 'n' roll band and travelled the USA and Canada. He is married with four children and lives in Eastbourne, where he is part of a Viking re-enactment group. When not writing, he can often be found standing in a shield wall with his three sons about him.
Tasha Suri is an award-winning author, a writing tutor, an occasional librarian and a cat owner. She has won the Best Newcomer (Sydney J. Bounds) Award from the British Fantasy Society, the Starburst Brave New Words Award, and has been nominated for the Astounding Award and Locus Award for Best Fantasy Novel. Her debut novel Empire of Sandwas named one of the 100 best fantasy books of all time by TIME magazine. When she isn't writing, Tasha likes to cry over TV shows, buy too many notebooks, and indulge her geeky passion for reading about South Asian history. She lives with her family in a mildly haunted house in London.
James Logan was born in the southeast of England and grew up on a steady diet of classic 80s cartoons and Commodore 64 computer games. The impulse purchase of a Fighting Fantasy gamebook forged a love of all things fantastical, which later led to a career in genre publishing. James lives and works in London.
Jared Shurin is an editor, reviewer and fantasy fan. His latest book is The Big Book of Cyberpunk (Vintage Classics, 2024) and he just finished an Icewind Dale playthrough.
