Dalloway Day 2017 - Clarissa's Party
Saturday 17th June 18:00 - 20:00 at London - Gower Street
In collaboration with the Virginia Woolf Society of Great Britain, Gower St. Waterstones celebrates the inaugural Dalloway Day with Clarissa's Party - an evening of 1920s style and music.
Virginia Woolf's novel Mrs Dalloway is one of her most widely read books - a modernist experiment exploring one day in the life of Mrs Dalloway in the context of post-WWI London.
Tonight we celebrate Woolf's literature here in the heart of Bloomsbury with Clarissa's Party - 1920s dress is more than wlecome, and prepare to dance the Charleston!
