Cyclogeography with Jon Day

Tuesday 18th October 18:30 - 20:30 at London - Islington

In Cyclogeography, Jon Day, King's Lecturer, Booker Prize judge and former Cycle Courier, looks at how cycling brings a unique take on our relationship with the physical world. Like a two-wheeled Ian Sinclair, Day looks specifically at how cycling remaps London and at the historical and philosophical implications of understanding a city via the bike.
This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Jon talk on this most profuse of subjects- he is a lucid, witty and compelling speaker.
The book is so much more that the memoir of a courier, it is an elegantly written philosophical treatise, and in person Jon is just as engaging.
In conversation with UCL lecturer Matthew Beaumont, this looks to be an extremely enlightening evening.
