Do you cycle in Cambridge? Have you wondered how drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians can all get along?
A bestseller in the Netherlands, Movementis an inspiring book by journalist Thalia Verkade and chair of Urban Mobility Futures at the University of Amsterdam, Marco te Brömmelstroet that asks radical questions about our dependence on cars, and challenges us to rethink our ideas about transport to put people at the centre of urban design.
Thalia and Marco will reflect on the success of Dutch cycling infrastructure, as well as its limitations, and consider what other countries are doing and could do to diversify how they use their streets and make them safer. Most importantly, they will map a way forward, offering tools for us to campaign for something different.
