Crime writers in conversation: William Shaw & Olivia Kiernan
Wednesday 20th May 18:30 at Canterbury - Rose Lane
'Shaw has made the bleak and inhospitable Kent coastline one of the principal characters in his mysteries' -- Guardian.
'What a pleasure it is when one discovers a writer who combines ironclad storytelling techniques with the linguistic finesse of more literary novelists' -- The Independant
Kiernan's 'superb upmarket police procedurals' are set in Ireland. The newest concerns a mother's disappearance in the Wicklow mountains, and the suspicions around her emotionless daughter.
This event will feature both authors in conversation about crime writing. This of course is followed by a Q&A where you can ask anything you've always wanted to know about crime writing. Be sure to bring in your favourite copy of their books, because there will be a signing!
Tickets are £3 and are available online and in store. The talk, as always, starts at 18.30 and will take approximately 2-2.5 hours. Will we see you there?
