Chokey: An Evening with Rosy Carrick

Thursday 27th September 19:30 at Brighton

We are thrilled that the brilliant Rosy Carrick, poet, playwright & performer, has chosen Waterstones Brighton to launch the Autumn tour of 'Chokey'. This is her first poetry collection and has been described tantalisingly as "Poems for revelling in passion and perversity, for the inspection of violence and pain, for tampering with truth, for always getting your fingers wet, for making lame pigs everywhere powerful". As well as discussing her work and performing some of her poetry, you will also be invited to enjoy the Chokey Tattoo Parlour and Tortured Beefcake Video Booth. It promises to be an evening like no other.
