Charity event to support Bury St Edmunds Dementia Action Alliance
Tuesday 2nd October 19:00 - 21:00 at Bury St Edmunds - Butter Market
On Tuesday 2nd October at 7pm we will be hosting an event with Anthony Le Moignan, who has written a book called 'A Long Goodbye'.
The book, set in Cambridge, was inspired by the author's time with his late Father, Des Le Moignan, a WWII RAF veteran, who lived with Alzheimers for many years before passing away in January this year.
In May, Le Moignan partnered with the Alzheimer's Society on the book launch in order to raise funds for the charity and awareness about the disease, donating proceeds from the sale of every copy.
Entry for this event will be £2, and proceeds will go to the Bury St Edmunds Dementia Action Alliance, a local group supporting dementia sufferers and their carers. The event will include a drinks reception for guests before a short reading, Q & A session, and book signing by the author.
We look forward to meeting you all.
