The book has been praised as “a startling, important book” (The Times), “powerful, effecting” (The Metro) and “compelling and empathetic” (The Sunday Times). Waterstones are delighted to welcome Angie back on a short trip to the UK in March to celebrate the books success and the release of an exclusive edition of the ground breaking novel. At this exclusive event, Angie will talk with journalist, Sarah Shaffi about the success of The Hate U Give, the forthcoming movie adaptation and her new novel, On the Come Up, due to be published in June 2018. There will be a signing after the talk, and the special Waterstones Exclusive edition of the book will be available to buy.

Tickets are £14, includes entry and a Waterstones exclusive edition of The Hate U Give, with yellow sprayed edges, deleted scene, short story, notes about characters and extract from new book, On the Come Up or £5 for a general admission ticket.
