An Evening with Will Ashon

Tuesday 20th June 18:00 at London - Walthamstow

In litter-strewn Epping Forest on the edge of London, might a writer find magic in between fake nature and real nature? He will certainly discover filthy graffiti and frightening dogs, as well as robbers, lovers, ghosts and poets. But, will he find himself? Or a version of himself he might learn something from?

Come along and learn more about Will's adventures in Epping forest and his book Strange Labyrinth, a quest narrative arguing that we shouldn't get lost in order to find ourselves but solely to accept that we are lost in the first place.

The book is a singular blend of landscape writing, political indignation, cultural history and wit from a startling new voice in non-fiction.

Come and meet that startling new voice at Waterstones Walthamstow, just a stones throw away from the very subject of his book.
