An Evening with Victoria Hislop

Tuesday 5th May 18:30 at Nottingham

We are delighted to present Victoria Hislop, author of 'The Island' and 'Cartes Postales from Greece', in conversation about her latest #1 Sunday Times bestselling novel, THOSE WHO ARE LOVED (out in paperback this April). Set against the backdrop of the German occupation of Greece, the subsequent civil war and a military dictatorship, Hislop sheds light on the complexity and trauma of Greece’s past and weaves it into the epic tale of an ordinary woman compelled to live an extraordinary life.

‘She brings Greek history to compelling life’ The Sunday Times

‘Hislop has done her research and handles the great sweep of complex Greek history with skill and confidence’ The Daily Mail

The evening will include a conversation about the book, audience Q&A and a book signing.

Ticket prices are inclusive of all fees. Copies of the book will be available on the night.

If you have access requirements, please get in touch beforehand. Waterstones Nottingham is wheelchair accessible. All welcome.
