An Evening with Samantha Shannon

Wednesday 18th May 2022
19:00 - 21:00 at Waterstones, Norwich - Castle Street

Something got in the way back in 2020, but we are now finally able to welcome Samantha Shannon to Waterstones Norwich to talk about her fabulous books: the Bone Season series and the Priory of the Orange Tree!

There are currently 5 books in the Bone Season series, of a promised seven book saga: set in a dystopian future where the shadowy organisation Scion has gripped the world in an iron fist, outlawing clairvoyance and murdering practitioners where it can. But there are secrets within secrets, shadows without the shadows of Scion and greater powers are mustering to control the world...

Priory of the Orange Tree is a sumptuous celebration of fantasy, with titanic Western dragons waging war on humanity from beneath the earth. All while the mysterious, sinuous Eastern dragons, friends to humanity, the only power to be able to withstand the Western dragons remain lost. The race is on to save the world, with an unlikely cast of characters thrust into the fight.
