Rupert's novel, 'Cloudless,' is a quietly devestating story of a farming family in Wales. With one son away in a distant war and the farm under financial strain, will either family or farmstead survive?

Seth's 'Human Animal' also takes a farm as its setting, as father and son clash amidst animal activists protesting on their land. Underpinning these tensions, a decades old family secret surfaces that might rip them apart or unite them. 

Lucy's 'The Lamb' treads a more gothic horror path, using the Cumbrian landscape as a backdrop to one family's story. Key protaganist Margot is a naive participant in the unsettling and corrupted world of her Mother's horrific making.
