An evening with Madeline Miller, in association with Manchester Metropolitan University
Tuesday 1st May 18:30 at Manchester - Deansgate
From the Women's Prize for Fiction winning, internationally bestselling author of The Song of Achilles comes the powerful story of the mythological Circe, inspired by Homer's Odyssey. We are thrilled, in association with the course From Historical Fact to Contemporary Fiction at Manchester Met, to welcome Madeline Miller to Waterstones Deansgate to talk about her incredible new book. Madeline will be in conversation with Livi Michael from the Manchester Writing School at Manchester Met about the novel, talking about gods and heroes, magic and monsters, survival and transformation and Circe, the first witch of western literature.
