An Evening With Ken MacLeod: Corporation Wars

Tuesday 17th October 18:15 - 19:45 at Bath

Ken MacLeod was born in Stornoway. He and Iain M. Banks went to school together and spent a lot of time talking about the SF novels they would write in the future. Ken went on to become a Prometheus and BSFA award winner and has been shortlisted for the Hugo and Arthur C Clarke Awards many times.

His fiction has always had a strong left wing flavour, exploring socialist, communist and anarchist/libertarian ideas. Scotland's most important SF writer, he has a degree in zoology, has worked as a computer programmer and written a thesis on biomechanics.

No-one interested in SF or the effects of technology upon humanity in the near- and more distant- future can afford to miss his visit to Bath.
