An Evening with Kelechi Okafor

Join us for a mind bending experience with award winning content creator, actress, and writer Kelechi Okafor, discussing her new novel ‘Edge of Here’. Enter a world very close to our own. A world in which technology can allow you to explore an alternate love-life with a stranger. A world where you can experience the emotions of another person through a chip implanted in your brain. And one where you can view snippets of a distant relative’s life with a little help from your DNA.
About the Book
In this stunning short story collection, Kelechi explores tales of contemporary Black womanhood, probing the lives we lead now and offering a glimpse into our near future, with hyper realistic stories that are destined to create conversation and transport you through lives between this world and beyond.
Limitless, thought-provoking, sometimes chilling, these are tales rooted in the recognisable, but not limited by the boundaries of our current reality – where truth can meet imagination and spirituality in transparent ways.
Allow yourself to be taken on a journey into worlds that are blazing with possibility, where you become both the observer and the observed through stories that will lead you right up t the Edge of Here…
