An Evening with John Harvey
Friday 1st February 2019
18:30 at Waterstones, Nottingham
Waterstones Nottingham is delighted to welcome back one of Britain's finest and most influential crime writers, John Harvey, to talk about the final chapter in his Frank Elder series, Body & Soul.
When his estranged daughter Katherine suddenly appears on his doorstep, Frank Elder knows that something is badly wrong. The breakdown of her relationship with a controversial artist has sent her into a self-destructive tailspin which culminates in murder. And as Elder struggles to protect Katherine and prove her innocence, the terrors of the past threaten them both once more.
John Harvey is a poet, scriptwriter, publisher, musician and the award-winning author of over 100 works in total, he is best known for his Nottingham-based, Jazz-heavy Charlie Resnick series of detective novels.
