An Evening with Hanya Yanagihara

Wednesday 12th January 2022
19:30 at Waterstones, Online Events

Join us for what promises to be a brilliant evening of conversation with bestselling author Hanya Yanagihara, as we celebrate the publication of To Paradise the day after its release.

From the author of the classic A Little Life, To Paradise is a bold and brilliant novel spanning three centuries and three different versions of the American experiment, about lovers, family, loss and the elusive promise of utopia.

To Paradise is the third novel from Hanya Yanagihara and set to be one of the most exciting literary releases of 2022. Her debut novel The People in the Trees was published in 2013 to wide critical acclaim, while her second novel A Little Life rocketed her into the literary scene. An enduring bestseller and a modern classic, A Little Life won the 2015 Kirkus Prize and was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize.

Hanya Yanagihara will be in conversation with Alex Clark, literary journalist and editor who has written for The Guardian, The Observer and The Times Literary Supplement.
