An Evening with Giovanna Fletcher

Friday 21st February 2020
19:00 at The Sky Room, MK Gallery, 900 Midsummer Blvd, Milton Keynes, MK9 3QA

From the author of number one bestselling Happy Mum, Happy Baby and the chart-topping podcast of the same name, comes a beautiful collection of heartfelt and deeply personal letters written to her three young sons Buzz, Buddy and Max, husband, Tom, and the family and friends who have inspired and supported her to become the mother that she is today.

Giovanna shares the funny and moving personal tales of her own family life whilst also talking about the deeper universal truths of parenting, from coping with mum guilt, finding a work/family life balance, positive body image, rediscovering a sense of identity and a parent's hopes, fears and expectations for their child's future.

But Motherhood is not without its lows either: tears and tantrums (your child's and your own!), fears, self-doubt and sleepless nights. One minute your heart is bursting with love and pride as you watch your family grow, the next you are practically on your knees with exhaustion, overwhelmed by the never-ending to do list. Motherhood is a rollercoaster.

WaterstonesMK are delighted to welcome Giovanna Fletcher to the lovely setting of the Sky Room in MK Gallery in Milton Keynes to discuss  Letters on Motherhood. The discussion will be followed by a signing.

Tickets are £6.00 for general admission or £20.00 for admission and a copy of Letters on Motherhood (£16.99), a saving of £2.99 compared to buying a copy on the night!
