An Evening with Giovanna Fletcher, Lindsey Kelk and Paige Toon

Monday 30th July 19:00 at Ghillie Dhu, 2 Rutland Place, Edinburgh, EH1 2AD

We're thrilled to be hosting an evening with 3 of our favourite women to celebrate their brand new books. Join us at the Ghillie Dhu to see Giovanna Fletcher, Lindsey Kelk and Paige Toon in conversation about their lives, friendships and their books, Some Kind of Wonderful, One in a Million and Five Years From Now.

Some Kind of Wonderful by Giovanna Fletcher

Lizzy and Ian have been a couple since their first day at university. Now, after celebrating a decade together, everyone thinks they're about to get engaged.

A romantic escape to Dubai is the perfect moment, but instead of the proposal Lizzy hopes for, Ian reveals he's not sure he even wants her anymore. Lizzy is heartbroken. But through the tears, she realises this is her chance to seize the opportunities she missed as Ian's other half. But what does she want? How much of her is really Lizzy, and how much was Ian's influence?

Determined to discover who she is at heart, Lizzy sets out to rediscover the girl she was before - and in the meantime, have a little fun . . .

One in a Million by Lindsey Kelk

Annie Higgins has given up on love: she's too busy trying to get her own business off the ground. Infuriated by the advertising agency across the hall making fun of her job, Annie accepts their crazy challenge - to make a random stranger Instagram-famous in just 30 days.

And even when they choose Dr Samuel Page PhD, historian and hater of social media, as her target, Annie's determined to win the bet - whether Sam likes it or not.

But getting to know Sam means getting to know more about herself. And before the 30 days are out, Annie has to make a decision about what's really important...

Five Years From Now by Paige Toon
What happens if you meet the RIGHT person at the WRONG time?

Nell and Van meet as children when their parents fall in love, but soon they are forced worlds apart.
Five years later, they find each other. Their bond is rekindled and new feelings take hold, but once again they have to separate.

For the next two decades, fate brings Nell and Van together every five years, as life and circumstance continue to divide them. Will they ever find true happiness? And will it be together?

General admission is £8 and there will be an opportunity to purchase the books and have them signed afterwards.
