An Evening With Doddie Weir
Saturday 9th November 19:00 at Edinburgh - West End
In a rugby career which had huge highs and shocking lows, Doddie faced some of the greatest players in the game and and set stadiums alight when 'on the charge like a mad giraffe'. In 2017, Doddie revealed he had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and has since set up his own foundation, The My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, to raise money for MND research and support.
Doddie has now written an autobiography, My Name'5 Doddie, and a second book, The World According to Doddie, which is a humorous A-Z look at life.
Doddie will be in conversation with his co-author, sports journalist and author Stewart Weir from 7pm. There will be an opportunity to meet Doddie afterwards and copies of both his books will be available to purchase.
