An Evening with Dan Jones at Piccadilly
Wednesday 1st September 2021
19:00 at Waterstones, London - Piccadilly
We are delighted to re-launch the live events programme at Waterstones Piccadilly with Dan Jones – award-winning historian, journalist and television presenter – as he discusses his new book Powers and Thrones with Paul Lay.
From the bestselling author of The Templars, Dan Jones’s epic new history tells nothing less than the story of how the world we know today came to be built. It is a thousand-year adventure that moves from the ruins of the once-mighty city of Rome, sacked by barbarians in AD 410, to the first contacts between the old and new worlds in the sixteenth century.
Dan Jones will be interviewed by Paul Lay, Editor of History Today and author of Providence Lost: the Rise and Fall of Cromwell's Protectorate.
Join us for what promises to be a brilliant return to live talks at our flagship shop.
