An Evening with Bill Beverly ***PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED***

Monday 22nd May 19:00 at Oxford

***PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED***

Bill Beverly's debut crime novel Dodgers has been received to critical and popular acclaim and we are delighted to welcome him to Oxford.

Told in precise, economical prose, Dodgers, is the story of 15 year old East, a foot soldier in LA's street-level army of drug peddlers, who is tasked with killing a witness before a case comes to trial. East, along with his half-brother and two other young men, travel across Wisconsin to commit the murder but - as might be expected - things do not go entirely to plan.
The book is part rite of passage and part road trip, and well worth the read! Even better to meet the author and gain some extra insights into this fascinating debut.
