We’re delighted to be joined by Alice Feeney as we celebrate publication of her latest novel Beautiful Ugly. The million copy bestselling Queen of Twists, returns with a gripping and deliciously dark thriller about marriage… and revenge.
Alice Feeney is the New York Times bestselling author of Good Bad Girl, Daisy Darker, Rock Paper Scissors, His & Hers, I Know Who You Are and Sometimes I Lie. Her novels have been translated into more than thirty languages, and have been optioned for major screen adaptations. Netflix has recently confirmed details of the forthcoming six-episode adaptation of His & Hers. The series will star Tessa Thompson (or Creed and Thor fame) and will be written by Ozark co-creator Bill Dubuque and William Oldroyd. Acadamy Award nominee Jessica Chastain is one of the Executive Producers (as is Thompson). Alice was a BBC journalist for fifteen years, and now lives in the Devon countryside with her family. Beautiful Ugly is her seventh novel.
Louise Minchin is most famous for her twenty-year stint on BBC Breakfast's red sofa, but she has also been the main news anchor on the BBC News Channel and the BBC's One O'clock News and presented The One Show, Five Live Drive, Real Rescues and Missing Live. Her television career has also seen her participate in a number of reality TV shows including ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, Channel 4's Time Crashers and the BBC's Celebrity MasterChef. Louise is also an award-winning author of non-fiction titles, Dare to Tri and Fearless, and she was Chair of the Women's Prize for Fiction 2023. Her debut novel Isolation Island, a tense, addictive thriller set within the world of hidden cameras and celebrity egos came out in September 2024.
