AcBookWeek presents: Lewis Dartnell & Caroline Wintersgill

Monday 9th March 18:30 at London - Gower Street

As Waterstones Gower Street is one of Europe's leading academic bookshops, we are proud to teaming up with Academic Book Week, an annual, five-day celebration of the diversity, innovation and influence of academic books run by the Booksellers Association.

2020's theme is The Environment, so we've invited Lewis Dartnell, author of Sunday Times bestselling Origins: How the Earth Made Us Professor of Science Communication at University of Westminster.

He will be in conversation with UCL Senior Teaching Fellow Caroline Wintersgill to discuss how we can communicate science and big ideas to a wide audience, and the importance of books in the current climate crisis.

Tickets are £15 including a discounted copy of Origins / £10 / £8 students and Plus cardholders. All tickets include booking fees and a glass of wine or a soft drink
