A Very Short Introduction: Waves

We are teaming up with IF Oxford Science and Ideas Festival to bring you a week of incredible events. From the 15th-22nd of October we will be holding a variety of talks and discussions where scientific research is explored, challenged, celebrated and enjoyed.
Waves with Mike Goldsmith
12:15-1pm, Waterstones Oxford Third Floor
From sound waves to gravitational waves, and from waves of light to crashing rollers on the ocean, Mike Goldsmith explores the fundamental features shared by all waves in the natural world. Consider the range of phenomena from reflection, diffraction, and polarization in light to beats and echoes in sound.
Tickets are limited and must be booked in advance to attend.
