Wednesday 21st June 18:30 at Birmingham

Join Non Pratt (Trouble and Truth or Dare), Lucy Ivison and Tom Ellen (Lobsters and Freshers) and learn how to survive anything the world can throw at the unsuspecting young adult from these universally acclaimed authors. Struggling to get by in Freshers week? We’ll give you our top list of must-have items. Worried about surviving on social media? The A-Team will teach you everything they know. Rounded off with a game of truth or dare – bring your best ideas and our wonderful authors will be put to the test!

Non Pratt grew up in Teesside and now lives in London. Her debut novel, Trouble, was shortlisted for the YA Book Prize, the Branford Boase, and was longlisted for the Carnegie. Following on from her second book, Remix, Non is a star of the Young Adult book community. Find out more about Non and her books by following her on Twitter @NonPratt.

Co-authors of the hilariously funny novels Lobsters and Never Evers, Tom Ellen and Lucy Ivison met in the sixth form and have been friends ever since. Lucy works as a school librarian, as well as teaching in girls’ schools across London specialising in building confidence and creativity. Tom is a journalist and has written for ShortList, Time Out, Vice, talkSPORT, ESPN and Viz. Their new YA novel, Freshers, will be published in August 2017.
