A Celebration of Ada Lovelace with Miranda Seymour

Wednesday 10th October 18:30 - 20:00 at London - Hampstead

In honour of Ada Lovelace, pioneering mathematician often considered the first computer programmer, we are pleased to be hosting a talk by Miranda Seymour, whose new 'double-biography' of Byorn's wife and daughter has been described as 'A masterful portrait' by John Carey of The Times and 'Vastly enjoyable' by Lucy Lethbridge of Literary Review.

As we plunge further into the digital age we are further realising the significance of Ada's algorithm. Given one of Ada's childhood homes was in Hampstead we are exceptionally proud and humbled to be paying homage to her in this way. Miranda's In Byron’s Wake: The Turbulent Lives of Lady Byron and Ada Lovelace is a fantastic acheivement and  therefore this talk is not to be missed by those of us who have been inspired by Ada Lovelace.
