With around 290 bookshops across the UK, Ireland and Europe, Waterstones is one of the world’s leading booksellers, trading since 1982 and employing approximately 3,500 staff. Our growing Work Experience programme offers an ideal introduction to bookselling as a potential career.
Where practical, we may be in the position to offer short work experience placements in our shops and head office departments across the UK. Applications are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and we encourage submission regardless of background or belief. All we require is a love for books and an interest in the people who, like you, cherish reading.
