At Southampton Westquay we are a welcoming first ‘port of call’ for cruise ship passengers and our wide range of local titles reflect all aspects of our beautiful surrounding area. We have a large Children's department and pride ourselves on having strong links with local schools and the wider community.          

There's something for everyone here, not just books but a wide range of Stationery and Gifts for both adults and children. We also have a full events programme throughout the year and host many book signings with authors and celebrities from a wide variety of genres.

We have significantly expanded our games offer and are one of Waterstones’ Games Flagships, with shelves packed with all types of board games and card games, from family and party games to strategy games and logic and deduction puzzles. Our passionate games enthusiasts will help you to find your next favourite game.

Our friendly and knowledgable staff will happily recommend you the best books, or just help you find the one you already know you want!

We also have Southampton's best-kept secret cafe - with fabulous views of the town's medieval walls set within a contemporary setting, our bespoke Cafe W offers a mouthwatering locally sourced menu and a unique blend of truly tremendous coffee. Please be aware the cafe closes an hour before the bookshop.
