Organic erectile dysfunction appears to occur frequently as a consequence of abnormal corporal veno-occlusive haemodynamics. The result is an inadequate corporal body pressure effecting an insufficient rigidity to have successful coitus. Venous surgery, a promising surgical approach, has already achieved some success in improving the erectile function of impotent men. Allowing a critical analysis of the present procedures, this issue reports the wide surgical experience in veno-occlusive dysfunction.
