“Pleasant read”

I bought this book as I wanted a very different read....and enjoyed it! It is from the richard and judy list so I took it on their recommendation.......it was also long listed for the orange prize for fiction.

“Mystery and intrigue”

Set after the civil war in England, a well written story with a mystery at the centre. Slightly unsatisfactory ending perhaps.
A good and easy read.
