"To pay Mrs Twit back for the worms in his spaghetti, Mr Twit thought up a really clever, nasty trick . . ."

Mr Twit is a foul and smelly man who always has bits of cornflake and sardine in his beard.

Mrs Twit is scheming and sly and always thinking of the next horrible trick to play on her husband.

The Twits are so ghastly and evil that they even keep Muggle-Wump the monkey and his family captive in their garden.

But not for much longer! The monkeys are planning to trick the terrible Twits so that they can escape and put a stop to the frightful pair once and for all!

“The Twits”

This book is perhaps one of Roald Dahl's best books about a couple who play practical jokes on each other that always end with the other wanting revenge. I would say this book is suitable for 7 to 12 years of age.

“Childhood memories galore!”

I re-read this as a nostalgia thing. It was good, but not as good as i remember it. There are much better Dahl books out there, but it is still fab. very good for little boys who like dirt!

“Woo hoo!”

Funny, disgusting and ever so slightly dated. Still, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It's so full of life and so politically incorrect, it's refreshing. There was plenty wrong with the... More
