When Ariel Manto uncovers a copy of The End of Mr. Y in a second-hand bookshop, she can't believe her eyes. She knows enough about its author, the outlandish Victorian scientist Thomas Lumas, to know that copies are exceedingly rare. And, some say, cursed. With Mr. Y under her arm, Ariel finds herself thrust into a thrilling adventure of love, sex, death and time-travel.

“The End of Mr. Y”

I enjoyed this from the very beginning and the characters and storyline was so addictive. Although there were times i became a little lost and had to re read some parts.

“Odd but addictive”

This is a very odd little novel. I picked it up in a charity shop, solely because of the brightly coloured cover. Once I started reading it, I was immediately sucked into the story and became quite addicted to it.... More
