Every night, tiny stars appear out of the darkness in Sandy's bedroom. Sandy catches them and creates wonderful creatures to play with until she falls asleep, and in the morning brings them back to life in the whimsical drawings that cover her room. One day, a mysterious pale girl called Morfie appears at school and is fascinated by Sandy's drawings in a way that no one else has been before. But there is a price to pay for this new friendship...

MEDIA REVIEWS
Scary, strange and wondrous stuff, its terror heightened by its luminous, polychromatic beauty. * The Guardian *
Nightlights is a magical fable about creativity and believing in yourself. With a 'Studio Ghibli' feel and some sumptuous artwork, this is a wonderful read and a visual treat. * Book Trust *
Nightlights is wonderful, and all the more astonishing for being a debut graphic novel. It's the ideal present for any youngster, thought-provoking and inspirational. -- Ian Keogh * The Slings & Arrows Graphic Novel Guide *

“Not for 5 years old kids”

Bought it for my 5yo son... but definitely not for his age. I guess this book is more for 8-10yo kids (at least) as it deals with ghosts, fears, fear of the dark, etc...
Beautiful drawings though.
