Waterstones Says

Both a scalpel sharp observational stand-up and a primetime, light entertainment favourite, John Bishop is also not getting any younger. A side-splitting dissection of the ageing process, How to Grow Old is packed full of personal anecdotes and wonderfully relatable gags.

Whether he likes it or not, John is getting older. His hair is greying, it's getting that much harder to stay fit, and the potential to become something of an embarrassment is ever increasing. But hope is not lost.

How to Grow Old is John's offering to the world. With sage advice on how to avoid the common pitfalls of age, intimate confessions and spit-your-dentures-out hilarious commentary on his own advancing years, this is his observational comic writing at its very best. If you were concerned about how not to be boring, how to dress, or how to still enjoy sport when you're no longer very good at it, this the book has the answers.

“Funny but parts made my heart ache so much”

I have this as an audiobook and listened to it in my car on the way to and from work. This was difficult because John Bishop is so funny, but it was nice to start and end the day with laughter.
