Primary religious and moral education is a course written specifically for the Ghanaian Primary Religious and Moral Education syllabus. Covering all six years of the syllabus, the course consists of six Pupil's Books and six Teacher's Books. The Pupil's Books have been carefully structured to cover the knowledge, skills and attitudes required at each level of the curriculum. Meeting the different criteria for each level of the syllabus, the course covers the basic principles of sound religious, moral and traditional values cherished in Ghana. Primary religious and moral education helps pupils to: develop an understanding and tolerance of other people's faiths; understand the differences between good and bad behaviours; develop an awareness of the Creator and the purpose behind their existence; and become good and useful citizens of their country.
