This is the perfect antidote to a profusion of pinkness * WRD *
A fun-filled caper full of fairytale characters with fabulous illustrations and lots to spot on every page, and a magical twist at the end to boot. * Surrey Advertiser, Aldershot News & Mail, Buckinghamshire Advertiser & Examiner *

This is a humorous story with lots of child appeal, and attractive illustrations that work well. What I particularly like about this story was its subversion of stereotypes -- not only is the witch perfectly nice and friendly, but Frankie is a girl who wears dungarees and the Brave Knight certainly isn't * School Librarian *
