Customer Perceptions of Resettlement Units - Research Report S. No. 11 (Paperback)Social Security,Dept.of
Paperback Published: 01/10/1992
- Not available
This report presents the findings of an evaluation of Resettlement Units undertaken by Public Attitude Surveys and Cragg Ross Dawson on behalf of the DSS. In a two-phase study between January and July 1991, qualitative development work looked at the opinions of residents staying at the Resettlement Units, and also at those of users of other "benchmark" hostels and of those preferring to sleep rough. Discussions were also held with staff. Quantitative interviews, based on the findings from the qualitiative work, were conducted amongst residents at twelve of the Resettlement Units and four benchmark hostels. The report should be of interest to policy-makers, researchers, and anyone involved in any way with the running of Resettlement Units.
