This lab manual can be sold for use with any DC/AC text. - 31 circuit analysis experiments provided - Involves a wide range of difficulty. - Electronics Workbench Uses - Similar to a workbench in a real laboratory environment, except that circuits are simulated on a computer and the results are obtained more quickly. - Electronics Workbench - Includes a central workspace, a parts bin, and Instruments stored on a shelf above the central workspace. - Mouse - Used to build the circuit in the central workspace, attach simulated test instruments, and run the simulation to display the results on the instruments chosen. - Simulator - Automatically runs the proper simulation based on the particular instruments connected to the circuit. - Circuit component faults - Introduced without damaging or destroying actual lab components and allowing more extensive troubleshooting experiments to be performed. - Faulty components - Introduced in a computer simulated circuit, makes it easier for students to find the faulty components in an actual circuit. - Troubleshooting problems - Included at the end of many experiments, because the parts bin has been removed, students are forced to find the fault by making a series of circuit measurements using only the instruments provided. - Experiments (complete with a circuit diagram and parts list) - Can be used in a hardwired lab environment in addition to the computer simulations, students can compare simulated results with the hardwired circuit results in the lab. - Accompanying disk - Contains all of the circuits needed to perform the experiments on Electronics Workbench version 4.
