Waterstones Says

Arguably best-loved singleton in the history of contemporary literature, the inimitable Bridget Jones, faces a host of brand-new problems as a single mum in this hilarious and moving third instalment in Helen Fielding's iconic series

Bridget Jones is mad about the boy – the gloriously funny and heartwarming million-copy bestseller, soon to be a major film starring Renée Zellweger.

What do you do when a girlfriend’s 60th birthday party is the same day as your boyfriend’s 30th?

Is it morally wrong to have a blow-dry when one of your children has head lice?

Is sleeping with someone after 2 dates and 6 weeks of texting the same as getting married after 2 meetings and 6 months of letter writing in Jane Austen’s day?

Pondering these, and other dilemmas, Bridget Jones stumbles through the challenges of single motherhood, online dating, and achieving ‘acceptance and calm’ in what SOME people rudely call ‘middle age’.

“It was Okay.”

I did enjoy it to a point. Not as good as the other two. It did make me smile and laugh out loud on occasions but the spark was missing. However, I would recommend it to readers of Bridget Jones but I'd tell them... More

“ruined”

Helen fielding has ruined the whole story. It's funny in some parts like her usual style but she has not out any thought into the last book at all. If you lived the first 2 I would not read it.
