This text is produced in cooperation with The Lewiston Historical Society and The Anthropology Department of the State University of New York at Buffalo. It is an archaeological and historical study of Artpark. This site, high on the eastern banks of the Niagara River in the Town of Lewiston, New York, is situated directly under the Niagara Escarpment, on land that millions of years ago was several times covered by oceans. It is now a centre for the performing and visual arts.
