"Alert & Oriented in Microbiology" was developed as a concise and easy way to learn microbiology. This book is organized into five sections. The first four outline specific types of organisms (Bacteria, Viruses, Fungi and Parasites), with each medically important pathogen presented in an easy to scan table with all of the important facts. Each table is no more than one or two pages for high-yield, quick review of the material. Section five consists of cross references to tie each of the sections together. There is also plenty of space to write down your own notes on the different pathogens. Important key words and distinctive features are in bold face for easy reading.
