“A strong suspenseful read”

I thoroughly enjoyed the latest DI Birch novel, which leaves Edinburgh for a hostage situation that is tensely told without losing the humanity of its characters, a strength of all of Askew's books.

“Gripping”

Compelling characters and a thrilling, fast paced plot, I couldn't put this book down. Another gripping read from Claire Askew. I highly recommend this to any avid crime/ thriller fans.
