Waterstones Says

Completely charming on every exquisitely illustrated page, Smith's warmly funny yarn of an inquisitive pooch and his sidekick Sir Bobblysock accidentally foiling a robbery will enchant children and adults alike.

Come with Claude on a smashing adventure! These waggy tales are perfect for new readers, with illustrations on every page. As seen on TV - Claude is the star of his very own TV show!

When Mr and Mrs Shinyshoes set off for work, Claude decides what adventure he wants to have that day. Today he and Sir Bobblysock go to the city for the very first time. They have tea in a cafe, go shopping and visit a museum. It is all very normal until... Claude accidentally foils a robbery and becomes the local hero!

“Say hello to Claude!”

Claude and Sir Bobblysock go on an adventure! This is a really cute, funny book perfect for young readers. Or not so young as it amused me and I did rather fall for the story of Claude and the quirky illustrations!

“Great wee book”

My little boy is nearly 6 and he and his little sister loved this book. When he's a bit older he'll be able to read it himself so hopefully this is a funny little tale that'll be in our house for years...
