Five Things We Loved this week
-
Bond is Back –
We loved the new Horowitz book Trigger Mortis so much, we created a replica of Ian Fleming’s writing room at the Piccadilly shop. Customers could interact with the 1950’s set and solve a Bond-like mystery based on the book (think Crystal Maze, if you are of a certain
age) . -
Jack Reacher has
Returned –The twentieth outing for Jack Reacher is out - and it’s the best one yet. You have to love Jack Reacher. He has a rule: “If you want me to stop,” he says, “make me”. We won’t. Not when the writing is this good.

Pop up a Penguin –
Penguin has turned 80 – Happy Birthday, Penguin. And thanks to the pop-up shop in Boxpark, Shoreditch, we can have our fill of 80p titles (until Sunday) – much better for the waistline than cake.

The
Nopi Cookbook –The cookery book event of the season!
Nopi : The Cookbook is a work of art in itself. And the recipes are delectable. This is Soho restaurant food – for your kitchen table. Yum. -
Salman Rushdie signed some books!
We were lucky enough to be given signed editions of the new Rushdie, Two Years Eight Months and Twenty-Eight Days. If you want to get your hands on one, move fast - they've been going down a storm.
