Tony Ross is one of the most sought after illustrators in Britain today. In a career spanning over 40 years he has provided pictures for David Walliams, Jeanne Willis and Francesca Simon’s Horrid Henry series amongst many, many others. After producing a number of picture book versions of fairy tales in the early 1980s, Ross’ commercial breakthrough came with the publication of I Want My Potty in 1986. A potty training guide cloaked in a hilarious picture book tale, the central character, Little Princess, went on to star in numerous other stories.
