Born and raised in Gloucestershire, Tom Kerridge joined culinary school in Cheltenham at the age of 18 and started his career as junior chef in country houses and hotels across the country. He moved to London in his early twenties and worked with the likes of Gary Rhodes to perfect his craft. In 2005, he set up his own restaurant, The Hand and Flowers in Marlow – the first pub to receive two Michelin stars.
Kerridge has presented and co-presented various TV shows, such as Food and Drink (2015) and Bake Off: Crème de la Crème (2016). He is the author of several bestselling books, including Tom Kerridge’s Fresh Start (2018), The Hand and Flowers Cookbook (2020) featuring his Michelin-star recipes and Tom Kerridge’s Outdoor Cooking (2021) which celebrates barbecue and campfire gourmet.
